Do you provide serves to people anywhere in the United States? No. Therapy Moms is licensed and credentialed to serve moms and families who reside in Florida.
How will I be matched with a counselor? You will be matched with a counselor based on your individual needs. The counselor's area of expertise is another primary consideration. Logistical factors such as; availability, caseload capacity, and gender preference are also taken into consideration
How much time should I expect my counselor to be available to me?
The time will vary depending on your assessed need. On average, clients receive two hours of online counseling a month. Remember, Therapy Moms is not crisis counseling and our therapists are not required to be on-call.
Pricing:
● Therapy Moms offers online counseling sessions for $75 an hour.
● Life coaching is offered for $55 an hour and aftercare services are also available.
Unlike those large online counseling companies, we offer person-centered and individualized care. We know that one size does not fit all! Our counselors will work with you and your budget to ensure you get the best care possible. Unlike other online companies, we do not rely on algorithms to determine your level of care.
Will my progress be slower with online therapy?
No! Studies demonstrate online therapy is as effective as traditional therapy for the treatment of most common emotional and behavioral health issues. Examples are depression, anxiety, substance abuse, stress, and PTSD.
Does Therapy moms respect confidentiality? Yes! Client privacy is one of our biggest concerns. Therefore, the platform we use is "Therapy Notes" which uses a combination of security measures to encrypt all client-therapist communications and information. Our dedication to privacy, security, and safety ensures compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Do you bill insurance? No, we do not bill insurance.
Therapy Moms is not an emergency service. However, if a client is in crisis, counselors have access to client's emergency contact information to be able to fulfill mandatory reporting/duty to warn obligations or call for help just as they would in face-to-face practice.
